The elegant BMW Motorrad 90 is part of the lineup of luxurious motorbikes that will be showcased at the Ace Café Reunion weekend in Brent, Motorbike Times reports.
The German manufacturing giant teamed up with custom bike company Roland Sands to design the Concept 90, inspired by the 1973 R90S. It was designed to commemorate BMW Motorrad’s 90th anniversary.
The retro model will be displayed at the Ace Cafe in Brent, just off London’s North Circular this weekend (14-15 September). What’s more, a ‘BMW Motorrad Zone’ will be set up at Brighton seafront for south coast bikers to admire.
The Ace Café Reunion is a celebration of the Café’s unique history, culture and style. Sunday’s ‘Burn Up and Ride with The Rockers’ has been a key component of Ace Café reunions since 1996. The free event takes place on Brighton seafront and will host trade and club stands, displays, live music and special guests.
This year’s guest of honour, Steve McLaughlin, winner of the first AMA Superbike race at Daytona in 1976, will award the best BMW café racer prize on Saturday. The top prize will be a BMW factory tour in Berlin.
It’s a busy week at the Ace Cafe, with the legendary venue set to host the world launch of the new Royal Enfield Cafe Racer on Wednesday.
