It’s lights out and away we go for Hot Wheels as the toy firm launches a wide range of F1 cars and circuits for collectors and car-mad kids.

Having announced an official partnership with Formula One in 2024 and released its first limited edition pack, Hot Wheels is set to bring eight of the latest F1 cars to your bedroom floor track or display cabinet.

Each model features a die-cast metal body and chassis (carbon fibre might be just a bit too pricey) along with Pirelli branded tires and accurate team liveries. What’s more there’ll also be two purpose-designed F1 circuits to race them on.

Roberto Stanichi, executive vice president of Hot Wheels and global head of vehicles and building sets says it’s “all about giving fans the products and experiences that bring the worlds of Hot Wheels and F1 together in a way that has never been done before and we’re just getting started.”

Initially there’ll be a series of single models available. The Oracle Red Bull Racing car is on sale now, with Williams Racing and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team following the spring. In the summer a five-pack will arrive in hot pursuit, featuring the McLaren Formula 1 Team, BWT Alpine F1 Team, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team and Kick Sauber F1 Team. Premium series versions will also hit the shelves, offering Real Riders tires and a display plinth.

In the fall Hot Wheels will launch a Formula 1 Sprint circuit that comes with a throttle pedal booster and chicane, while a bigger Grand Prix track comes with a two-speed, three-lane booster and manual DRS diverters, two-into-one overtake 180 wall, and dual-lane lap counter. Each circuit comes with three cars ready for the grid.
