Hagerty, an automotive lifestyle brand and leading specialist insurance provider, today announces its 2023 global events calendar.
Hagerty UK events include the ever-popular Festival of the Unexceptional, which returns to Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire next July. RADwood UK will also make a comeback in 2023, with exact dates and venue soon to be announced.
Hagerty’s US calendar announces a host of premier events for the year ahead, including The Amelia, Greenwich Concours d’Elegance and Motorlux.

Hagerty UK events
Hagerty Hill Climb – 27th – 28th May
On the 27th and 28th May, Hagerty will bring together an eclectic mix of cars to tackle the historic hillclimb course at Shelsley Walsh. Along with a number of demonstration drives, Hagerty offers the chance for guests to drive their own car at speed at one of the most memorable motorsport locations in the UK. Non-drivers can enjoy a full day of hillclimbing, quality food and drink and a host of additional entertainment.
Festival of the Unexceptional, 29th July
The world-famous Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional returns to Grimsthorpe Castle on Saturday 29th July, bigger and better than ever before. The Concours de l’Ordinaire – quite literally, a show dedicated to sharing some of the greatest everyday classic cars on our roads –was originally launched by Hagerty in 2014 and has earned its place in the automotive calendar, remaining the only concours to celebrate the everyday cars we all know and love.
RADwood UK – 2023 dates to be confirmed
US-born RADwood was created to celebrate the excess of ’80s and ’90s car lifestyle culture, blending period-correct dress with automotive awesomeness to celebrate cars, trucks, and bikes from 1980-1999. Founded in America in 2017, Hagerty took stewardship of RADwood in March 2022 and will bring RADwood back to the UK once again in 2023. Dates and venue to be announced.

The Amelia, 2nd – 5th March
Now in its 28th year, The Amelia is a multiple award-winning motoring event held March 2-5, 2023, at The Golf Club of Amelia Island and The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Luxury shopping, auctions, new vehicle reveals & experiential drives, exclusive gatherings and entertaining seminars surround Saturday’s Cars & Community and Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance. Each year The Amelia honors a racing legend and attracts celebrities from across the automotive landscape.

California Mille, 23rd – 27th April
Each spring, the California Mille gathers an intimate group to celebrate history, cars, and camaraderie on some of California’s best driving roads. The California Mille is officially recognized by the original Mille Miglia and driven by the founding philosophy: “important cars, little roads and wonderful friends.” Starting off in Berkeley, this year’s route celebrates California’s wonderful mountain destinations before finishing in beautiful wine country. The California Mille is dedicated to bringing enthusiasts together to celebrate car culture while also fueling our communities through an annual charitable contribution. Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, 2nd – 4th June
Founded in 1996, Greenwich Concours d’Elegance is a three-day premier motoring event in Greenwich, Conn. Exclusive gatherings, luxury shopping, ride and drives, new vehicle experiences and entertaining seminars complement Friday’s Grand Tour and Saturday’s Cars & Community. Sunday’s nationally recognized Concours d’Elegance celebrates historically significant American and International vehicles along the town’s picturesque harbor front. Motorlux, 16th August
Motorlux is a vibrant celebration of cars, craft and community held during Car Week at the Monterey Jet Center. Detroit Concours d’Elegance, September
