On 25 July, Hagerty would have held its Festival of the Unexceptional, a Concours de l’Ordinaire that celebrates some of the rarest and most cherished everyday classic cars on the road.
Postponed until next July, due to the global pandemic, it’s tempting to turn misty eyed and feel sad at the loss of such a unique, entertaining event. But stay strong friends: it will return.
To help all those that would like to enter the world’s most remarkable Concours de l’Ordinaire, Hagerty has produced this film to steer classic car fans in the right direction and prepare an entry that will wow the judges.
So sit back, take note, then set to work. The battle to find Britain’s most unexceptional classic car in 2021 starts here.
Hagerty finds the ordinary extraordinary. And we’re sure you do, too.
We hope to see you next July. Good luck!
Could you change the day to a Sunday which would make it so much easier for those who work on a Saturday?
Agree with the Sunday comment – much easier than a Saturday – Saturdays are busy days and it’s difficult to get out!
Yes Sunday events are so much better for those who show their vehicles and the public who wish to attend.
Yes.. Move it to a Sunday, and to Penzance so it’s easier for me to get there from Par ;o)
I also would have a long round trip – is there camping available (especially if there’s a bar of some sort)?
